I will start of by saying, this bubble bar is covered in gold glitter! I ended up covered in it when I was taking the photo below and putting it in the bath. This doesn’t bother me too much though because it adds a bit of fun and sparkle to the bath – and who doesn’t love glitter!
When I smell the Sparkly Pumpkin the first thing I notice is a citrus scent which is not what I was expecting at all. I think I was expecting it to smell like pumpkin and spices, so this was a pleasant surprise. Sparkly Pumpkin has a blend of lime, grapefruit and juniper berry oil which is energising and uplifting. When I broke it in half to crumble into the bath I was shocked to see how bright the orange inside was, I was expecting it to be a bit more of a pastel orange.
Half of the bar in the bath produced tons of bubbles that lasted for the entire bath – and then some! The bubble bar turned the bath a light orange – some may say it looks like pee, but I don’t mind that – and the scent was a lot more subtle once it has dissolved into the water.
I was half expecting the bath to be covered in water once it had all drained away, but fear not, all of the glitter went down the drain with the water – no late night bath cleaning needed. I am not sure I will be purchasing another of these bubble bars, only because there are other bubble bars I prefer better. Though if you like more citrusy scents, this may be the one for you.
Sparkly Pumpkin is priced at £3.50 and available here.
I actually used this today and loved it!
