I saw on Instagram that Tanya Burr was releasing a limited edition lip gloss for Christmas called Mistletoe Kisses and when I checked Superdrug’s website it was out of stock. But I managed to track it down on offer on Cloud 10 Beauty so snapped it up before it sold out.
As with all of the Tanya Burr lip glosses it smells very sweet – like gummy sweets – and it is quite a sticky formula, which personally I like as sticky glosses tend to last longer on the lips. Even though the formula is sticky this gloss does feel lovely and smooth on the lips and actually feels quite moisturising. In the tube it looks quite similar to Heart Skipped a Beat, however when it is on the lips it is definitely more red in colour. It has small gold shimmers running through it which adds to the shine and makes it look very Christmassy.
Mistletoe Kisses applies evenly on the lips – despite how it looks in the photo above – and lasts well before a top up is needed. In my opinion it performs just as well as the permanent line up, which makes it a shame that it is limited edition. Unfortunately this is not available in stores but it is currently in stock online, so grab it while you can.
