I have used bath melts from Lush in the past and I really liked them. I find they do a really great job at moisturising my skin, so much so that I don’t feel I need to use a separate moisturiser when I get out of the bath. Lush Snow Angel is filled with skin softening cocoa butter and has a floral marzipan scent – perfect for Christmas baths. Making up that scent is Rose Absolute, Benzoin Resinoid, Cassie Absolute, and Fair Trade Organic Cocoa Butter.
I was not expecting this bath melt to fizz as much as it did. It was kind of like a bath bomb and melt in one. The white section does not take long to dissolve but the yellow section takes a good 10 minutes to fully dissolve and release all of its rich cocoa butter goodness into the bath. Once everything has finished dissolving the bath is left with a lovely yellow tint and floating gold sparkles. The scent of Snow Angel lingered for the whole time I was in the bath but it was not overpowering at all, which is good as I am not usually a fan of marzipan. The only problem with this bath melt is that it left lots of gold sparkles in the bottom of the bath once the water had drained away, but I am sort of used to this happening with the glittery Lush products so its not too big of a deal.
Lush Snow Angel retails for £3.95 and is available here.
