I have just posted a new video on my YouTube channel. It is a get ready with me autumn leaves inspired look. Scroll down to see more photos of the look.
I have a face of the day (FOTD) for you today. This was actually the makeup I wore yesterday when I went for lunch with my fiancé. It was the first time I used The Balm Nude ‘Tude eyeshadow palette on my eyes, and let me just say I am still impressed.
This is the full face. I decided to go for an autumnal look yesterday so I could play with some of my favourite colours from the palette, mainly Sexy and Silly. Please excuse my eyebrows, I swear in real life the match, they just decide to do their own thing when I take a photo.
For my base I used The Body Shop All in One Instablur Universal Primer followed by Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua liquid foundation in B10 and Chanel Vitalumiere Loose Powder foundation in 10. I have a few blemishes at the moment so concealed with MAC Studio Finish concealer in NC15 and to cover my dark circle (that are exceptionally bad at the moment) I used MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in NW15. I found the combination of these products gave me a flawless base that lasted all day.
Moving on to the most important part of the look – the eyes. I used the Lorac Behind the Scenes Eye Primer to keep my shadows from creasing throughout the day. I then used MAC Brule eyeshadow to set this in place. I first applied Sultry lightly in my crease and a long my lower lash line. Then I applied Snobby to the inner half of my lid and Silly to the outer half. To deepen the look and make it more autumnal I added Sexy to the outer portion of my crease and lower lash line. To make the look more dramatic I added some black winged eyeliner using the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner and followed it with three mascaras, YSL Babydoll, Maybelline The Falsies and Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara. I love using multiple mascaras to get the perfect look to my lashes.
I hoped you liked this look, I enjoyed creating it. Let me know in the comments below. Do you have this palette? If so let me know what colours you put together, I would love to know what other looks I can create with this palette.
