Review | Lush Wizard Bubble Bar

I think the Wizard I received is looking a little sorry for himself but I think he is kind of cute too! When I first saw this bubble bar at the Lush Christmas Launch I though it was the Christmas Penguine bubble bar just in a different colour. It wasn’t until a looked closer – and read the sign next to it – I realised it was a new product.

As I took Wizard out of the packaging immediately I recognised the scent of Ylang Ylang, however this bubble bar also contains Fennel Oil, Juniper Berry Oil and Tangerine Oil. As you can see from the picture above it is coated in a sheen of glitter, though the glitter is not as chunky as it is on Sparkly Pumpkin.

Wizard turned the bath water a beautiful lilac and the scent of Ylang Ylang lingered for the entire time I was in the bath. I only used about the third of the bar – he is now missing his hat! –  and that was plenty to create a really bubbly bath. I did not find that the shimmer transferred into the bath, so I am wondering if this is just an overspray. I enjoyed using this bubble bar and even my other half said he liked the scent. I might pick up another Wizard soon, especially as I think I can get about 3 baths out of one bubble bar, it’s great value for money.

Wizard is priced at £3.25 and is available here. This product will not be available after Halloween so grab one quick if you want to try it.
